Our Journey
Julia Soap Garden was born in 2014 from a deeply personal journey. Our founder, Julia Tseng, originally a programmer from Taiwan, discovered the healing power of handmade soap after struggling with skin sensitivities caused by Malaysia's tropical climate.
What began as a personal remedy blossomed into a passionate calling. During visits back to Taiwan, Julia systematically studied soap making, natural skincare, and candle crafting — transforming years of self-healing into professional expertise.
When her children left for studies abroad, Julia turned her "empty nest" moment into a new beginning. Encouraged by her family, she transformed her hobby into a thriving creative studio — pioneering as Malaysia's first beeswax flower certification workshop. Today, we've nurtured over 1,000 students, with more than 70% successfully launching their own craft businesses.
